August 16, 2007

The Pulse of Radio (formerly Launch Radio Networks) reports: PEARL JAM will release a live concert film on DVD called "Immagine in Cornice", which means "picture in a frame," on September 25. According to a press release, the disc will feature performances and behind-the-scenes footage from five shows the band played in Italy during its 2006 European tour. The film was shot in Bologna, Milan, Torino, Verona and Pistoia and utilized a number of formats, including high-definition video and Super 8 film.

Fans who pre-order the DVD at PearlJam.com will also be able to buy a limited-edition commemorative T-shirt for a special price, beginning on August 22.

"Immagine in Cornice" was directed by photographer, filmmaker and longtime PEARL JAM friend Danny Clinch, who called the project "a look at PEARL JAM that no one has seen yet."

The disc will be PEARL JAM's first concert film and DVD release since "Live at the Garden" in 2003.
